Happy Easter every one - well I dont know about you's but i am loving the Craft Sales this weekend - Had my warning off hubby not to buy out Create and Craft lol x I must admit I have gone a bit mad - like Mad March hare - and had a spending spree stocking up as I wont be able to afford things shortly. Redundancy looms closer.

Well its afternoon and Ive been reviewing my pictures of my recent cards and feel they dont show them off really well... So I took the pictures again in the daylight and here are the results .... plus I felt oneof the cards looked unfinished so I added more to it.. can you see which one it is ?

Ive been playing with my Spectrum noirs again. I must say I get great enjoyment out of them as it is very relaxing and soothing to sit and colour in a picture. I have also had a play around with my spritzers. I have had them for ages and just didn't know what to do so I made a blank popup box and spritzered it. I will post a picture when I have completed it. Here are a couple of cards I have made - On the first card I have using my spectrum noirs on a Sherri Baldy digi stamp and sprinters on the heart. On the second card I have used shapes cut out using my spellbinders and finished off with some embellishments. the third card is a combination of Sherri Baldy stamp coloured using Spectrum Noir pens and Crafters Companion Desire die, and Tom Holts Distressed ink.

Well Ive had a bit of an eventful week and can proudly pat myself on the back. This morning I managed to walk to the doctors and back on my own - wohoo to me. I was invited to an Craft open day at the Howdon Library and it was good - I enjoyed the company and again managed it by myself. I learnt how to do a waterfall card and put my own inspirations to work and produced this :

Craft Group

Afternoon - Ive had quite a week, finished my assertiveness course and found out about a little craft group near me, so popped along to see what went on and if there was room for one more. The ladies are lovely and I look forward to sitting with them and learning new skills as well as pass on some of the things I have learnt, which wont be much considering they have been going for 16 years - eekk : ) x

Spectrum Noir Pens

I have been playing around with my specrum noir pens again and I must say I am getting a bit more confident with the blending. It helped mr going to the bog site and looking at the blending charts and getting to know the pens more. here are a couple of did stamps I have coloured in - I would welcome any feed back :) x

Been busy making a popup box for mothers day and decorating some birdcages which I havent quite finished yet but will post the final results lol :)

Time to be positive

Well today I decided it is time I tried to be more positive and leave the dark places behind me. I have been inspired and want to move forward with my crafting and instead of just doing it intermittently to become a more avid crafter. Trouble is I get easily sidetracked lol. I start off looking for inspiration and have ideas in my head, then go looking for what I need i.e tools and supplies and then see something else and before I know it the day has gone. Well (she says to herself) this has got to stop, I have to focus on the job at hand - says she trying to convince herself this will happen. hahaha. Time will tell if I have succeeded in this quest :).

Back to Normality lol

Well thats the wedding over and what a beautiful bride she was.  The sun was shining, all the smiling faces, every one happy - brilliant day was had by all.  How stunning is the bride and her dress was amazing.  Look at the detail on that dress amazing x
