After the year we have had my husband deserves some relaxation... will be taking my copics and digis for in the cabin - lovely cant wait ... see you all when we get back.

WHO LOVES TSC? - WE DO!  and the reason being ... Tamara is always thinking of others....

Well morning to all you crafters out there, and for those who like new challenges, look no further as TSC have a new forum with loads of things to do. Why! I hear you ask, we like the TSC Recipe Challenges and the TSC Blog Challenges....  Tamara is aware of this but there are quite a few people who are missing out on her fantastic images, because they don't use Facebook or blogs.

There will still be lots going on in TSC Recipe and TSC Blog so don't rule them out.  However, if you want to be a part of a wider range of monthly challenges and the chance to win 2 TSC digi images of your choices from each challenge then the TSC Forum is the place to be.  Just register, say hello and then you will be all set to play.  The Challenges are all live and they are on a MONTHLY basis.

Today is the day I attend my art classes, and it is run by a local artist Emily Ward.  Her paintings are so inspiring and they bring back such treasured memories of my childhood.

Emily does a lot of thing in the local community and helps to raise funds for our local Oncology Unit

New Crafting Goodies

Had some happy post yesterday woohoo, cant wait to try it but it will have to wait :(  got some pressing things to do first, like finish my Christmas shopping hahha ..... so behind with it all this year.  Christmas cards to write, and then catch up on my SBS colouring and then and only then might I get a chance to try it out  - phew ... I think there is some house work and food shopping to be done as well ..

I can hear you all shouting - well come on then tell us what it is that you got -  hmmmm shall I or shan't I.... lets see if you can guess what it is x

All Good Things Come To An End

All good things must come to an end- and I have to say thank you to Tamar aka The Stamping Chef for giving me the opportunity of being in her DT Team.  It was a privilege to be able to colour and use her amazing images in my projects,

Time for change, which is why I signed up on Stamping Betty's colouring tutorials, which are amazing and helping me with different colouring  techniques..

It is also time to try and get the confidence to get back in to the working society after being out of the working scene due to ill health  for 18 months.  I wont ever be in full health, but need to break free from the inside of my home, which is a challenge in itself and go and say hello to the outside world.

I have some amazing friends which I have know for years, who don't always understand me, and I have met some truly genuine people in the groups I have been part of  and those I am still a part of, who do not always understand me either but do not judge me either.

for those people who would rather judge me rather than get to know me all I ask is this ...

' do not judge me till you have walked in my shoes'

Morning peeps, what a wonderful night we had at Newcastle Racecourse (hubbys works xmas party). Excellent company (especially as Mark was there lol ), excellent food and entertainment.  A good night had by all.

I just have to share my good news with you all. I received my certificate for my paper crafting and my badge and so its official I passed wohooo.

Goodbye Paul gone but not forgotten x

As some of you know, we had some heart wrenching news on 8 November 2013.  My husband lost one of his brothers suddenly and unexpectedly and we have all been in a bit of a turmoil getting things sorted out, organising the funeral etc.  We had the funeral a week ago today and he had a really good send off, we celebrated his life not his death, which was what he would have wanted..  We had some somber music 'The sound of Silence' by Simon and Garfunkel going into the chapel,




They talked about his life and achievements and some of the fun stuff, and we left the chapel with the uplifting 'Ying tong' song by the Goons, which lightened the whole atmosphere and was right up Pauls street. The last song was a well kept secret and it was lovely to hear every one laugh as they left the chapel, smiling and remembering Paul.

Apologies for the lack of activity of late, its a sad time for our family and most of my free time is taken up at the moment.  I am trying to blog as much as I can but I have had no time to do any colouring or crafting.
